Cambridge Summer Program - Fees and Financial Aid
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the 2008 UNH Summer Program in Cambridge covers two courses, a private room, linens, maid service, computer
use, most meals (seven breakfasts and five dinners a week) and all
excursions, including transportation and entry fees, except the optional
Bonus Weekend in Edinburgh at an additional cost of $450. (For
details, please request an informational packet from the program
administrator, Ms. Joy Winston: joy.winston@unh.edu.)
An application fee of $35 is due with the application.
There is no financial aid specifically marked for the program. Most
students on financial aid are able to apply some of it to this program.
All students, including those not on financial aid, may be
eligible for a non-subsidized Stafford Loan to pay for the program.
Often students are able to combine the two Cambridge courses with summer courses taken other years or with extra courses taken during the academic year to reduce their on-campus obligation from eight semesters to seven (or from twelve quarters to eleven), thus compensating for some or all of the Cambridge fee.
The University of New Hampshire mandates different tuition rates for residents and non-residents, and for undergraduates and graduate students. In addition, the Cambridge Summer Program imposes a common student fee to cover room and board, excursions, and other program benefits. Total program costs for students taking a full academic load - two four-credit courses - are listed below.
